Y’all know the drill.
- Singer Se7en and actress Park Han Byul have (finally!) officially admitted that they’ve been dating for the past seven years. They’ve known each other since their last year in high school, and started dating even before their debuts. Man, sure took them long enough to admit to this, huh? Rumours about them have been swirling for years. Even after that very telling photo of the two of them together came out, they continued to deny it. It’s called coming out gracefully, people. Try it sometime.
- One of the official character stills for Ha Jung Woo’s upcoming film National Athlete has been released (as seen above). In it, he’s in character as an American junior alpha ski jumper who goes to Korea to find his mother and ends up in the Korean national ski jumping team by accident. And he’s looking mighty fine, as always. The movie’s directed by Kim Yong Hwa of 200 Pound Beauty, and is currently in post-production mode.
- Action director and actor Jung Doo Hong (of Ruler Of Your Own World fame) is getting married, to a woman sixteen years his junior (he’s 43, she’s 28). Their wedding is set to take place on the 14th. Many congratulations to them!!
I seriously love this guy, and it’s great to hear such good news about him. May they be very happy together. - Kim Jung Eun has been cast in the film Gourmet 2, the sequel to the hit film called, well, Gourmet. She plays a kimchi expert, and will be playing opposite actor Jin Gu. Aaaaand I’m totally uninterested. You’d think that after making both a drama and a film based on the same story, that they’d had enough of wringing this cash cow dry. Yawn.
- Queen Seondeok continues its meteoric rise in ratings, beating out even White Lies to be number one in the ratings overall on that day. According to AGB, its ratings for episode six was 23.3%, closely overtaking White Lies’ 23.1%. And that reminds me, I have to go watch episode five now.
- The upcoming KBS1 daily drama Everybody Cha Cha Cha has released some photos of its stars during the photoshoot for the official poster (as seen below). Everyone looks very cheerful and dance-y. Now if they’ll just release a photo of Oh Man Seok, I’ll be happy. The drama airs its first episode on the 29th.
